Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- open day and school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.

Athletics Carnival
Date: Tuesday 25 July 2025
Time: 9.30am
With all schools unable to book our usual venues again this year, Dee Why PS took advantage of our local reserve to run our Athletics Carnivals yesterday. Super fine Winter weather allowed for a great day of running and sports events to run over the course of the day for both K-2 and 3-6 students.
