Carnivale

Carnivale is a special celebration at Dee Why Public School, showcasing the rich cultural diversity that makes our community unique. The event features vibrant dance performances and an International Food Tasting provided by families and community vendors, creating a joyful feast of culture, connection and community spirit.

Sporting Events

Dee Why Public School offers a wide range of sporting opportunities for students throughout the year, including the Swimming, Athletics and Cross Country Carnivals. Students can also take part in PSSA competitions and various Sporting Gala Days, providing fun, inclusive and challenging experiences that encourage teamwork, participation and personal growth.

Creative and Performing Arts

Dee Why Public School offers a rich Creative and Performing Arts program. Our Junior and Senior Dance Groups perform at whole-school events and proudly represent the school in local competitions.

Students can also participate in a variety of music ensembles, including Mezzo Strings, Training Band, String Orchestra, Poco Strings, Concert Band, Choir and Recorder Group. These ensembles perform at school events, attend Band Camp, and take part in performances and competitions within the wider community, including notable venues such as the Opera House.
