How to Support Your Child's Reading at Home

It was a pleasure guiding you on how to support your child's reading at home!

Thank you to all the parents who came to school last Wednesday morning, despite the cold, for our Years 3-6 How to Support Your Childs Reading at Home Parent Information session. Parents were engaged in practical strategies and resources to support their children at home. Teachers have done a lot of professional learning around the new English syllabus and the pedagogy, putting an emphasis on literacy groups and guided, modelled and independent reading this Semester.  

A big thank you to Mr Pye (Stage 3), Mrs Lisa Clark (Library) and Mrs Steph Mawbey (APC&I) for your time, passion and dedication.  

We will be looking to host Parent Information Workshops on Maths next Semester!
