Our Kinder 2025 Information Showcase was a great Success!
On Wednesday Dee Why Public School opened its doors to our local community for its premier event, the Kindergarten 2025 Information Showcase!
The school was exceptionally proud to be hosting one of the biggest events in the school calendar, as staff and students put their "best foot forward" and displayed what school life is really like at our school. A jam packed program saw that parents got a real taste of the students' love of learning and happiness at our school.
New parents and their children were met at the gates by our wonderful captains and Year 6 Leaders, who in turn ran a very polished and professional showcase of the talents of themselves and their school mates. Our kinders sang beautifully and our strings ensembles and concert band played very difficult pieces with ease. Our current kindergarten students performed numerous items that had the crowd smiling, laughing and clapping along with them. It brought a tear to the eye!
Mr Chaffer and Mrs Bell spoke about our fantastic school and what life is like in Kindergarten.
We concluded the showcase with the showing of the Dee Why Public School Kinder Slideshow - A Day in the Life. This visual story of kinder life was indeed a treat for all, as it showed our beautiful children learning in our safe and supportive environment.
Also, there was plenty of chat at the morning tea that followed the showcase. Here, staff and prospective parents shared a biscuit and a cuppa and discussed all things kindergarten. The smiles say it all!
